Booking Procedure
This completed booking form, which serves as a guarantee of payment, is required in order for us to proceed with your reservation. This liability we incur for cancellation fees, on confirming reservations on your behalf with our suppliers, makes this necessary.
Deposit
We will make a provisional booking immediately, which will be confirmed on receipt of your 50% deposit. Balance of payment must be made within 2 months of departure.
Change of Booking Fee
If, after confirming, you wish to amend your booking in any way, you may do so, subject to paying an amendment fee of R50.00 per booking. All amendments must be received in writing.
Final Payment and Documents
Full and final payment is due 2 months prior to departure. If payment is not received 2 months prior to departure we will automatically release your reservation. No travel documents will be handed over until such time as full payment and travel declaration forms have been received by Safaris for Africa cc.
Cancellation
Cancellation of any booking must be received in writing. If a booking is cancelled, Safaris for Africa shall retain the full 50% deposit. On cancellation the following policy applies:
a) If 6 weeks or more notice is given, only the deposit is forfeited.
b) Less than 6 weeks notice: 60% of the total fare.
c) Less than 4 weeks notice: 80% of the total fare.
d) Less than 2 weeks notice: 100% of the total fare.
e) For last minute bookings where no deposit has been paid, 100% cancellation fees will apply should these bookings be cancelled.
f) If for any reason whatsoever you fail to appear at the reserved place of accommodation, arrive later or earlier, no reimbursement will be considered.
Price
The price is valid at the time of quotation but is dependant on currency fluctuations, accommodation and airfare increases. In the unlikely event of there being an unscheduled extension of a booking caused by flight delays, bad weather, strikes or any other matter beyond our control, it is understood that expenses incurred will be for the passenger account. Until such time as final payment has been received, all prices are subject to change.
